Program of the international conference “Les Futurs Fantastiques” - December 8-10, 2021
Program
76 proposals were submitted in response to the summer call for papers for the conference “Les Futurs fantastiques”. They enable to shape a program involving a wide range of speakers in respect of their geographic or institutional origin, and type of projects developed.
In this program, you can find the main issues related to the development of AI technologies in GLAMs: collective strategy, internal organisation, partnerships, training and professional change, ethics, computer vision, handwritten text recognition… All these themes are enlightened through feedback presentations, practical examples, use cases, and discussions.
Special keynote speakers also invite you to broaden your perspectives and open your mind by sharing their research and art works: Marion Carré, who explores in many ways the relationships between art and artificial intelligence, and Yves Citton, researcher and professor in Literature and Media at the Université Paris 8, whose books link politics, culture, art and philosophy.
The days before the two-day conference, several workshops and tutorials have been organised online, as well as a visit of the University Paris-Saclay campus (off-site event in Paris suburb).
