The French Web collected by the BnF for heritage and research purposes
As part of the web legal deposit introduced by the 2006 DADVSI law, the BnF collects the French Web and provides access to archives dating back to 1996. These exceptional collections have been built up thanks to a network of librarians, at the BnF and in partner libraries in the French regions and overseas territories, whose mission is to gather the heritage of tomorrow.
