Room M – Ethnology, sociology, geography
Room M welcome all readers carrying a research pass. It offers collections in sociology, anthropology, ethnology, geography and education sciences on its shelves. It seats 125 people and offers microfiche readers, specific equipment for visually impaired users and a reproduction room.

The Room M collections offer monographs and periodicals on ethnology/anthropology, sociology, geography, and education sciences.

Sociology
Research monographs and periodicals. Monographs collections are organized according to the different disciplines of sociology (demography, sociology of work, family, delinquency etc.) with geographical distinctions when possible. -
Anthropology / ethnology
Research monographs and periodicals. Monographs collections cover geographically organized methodological and epistemological questions on 5 continents. -
Géography
Research monographs and periodicals. The collections cover human and physical geography and the geography of the different world regions. They also offer a collection of travel stories. Maps are also available on demand. -
Education Sciences
Research monographs and periodicals. The collections include education theory, education, higher education, and adult training. -
L’illustration
Room M also offer the newspaper L’illustration from 1843 to 1940.
